SUMMARY CV:  Binder Singh, MSc, PhD, CEng, PE, FIMECHE, FIMAREST  

Dr Binder Singh is an accomplished technical authority, and leader in corrosion & integrity management (IM), materials performance, technology adaptation, with > 35 years experience in the UK marine/offshore North Sea & USA Gulf of Mexico (apprx. ½ & ½).  A strong proponent of multi-disciplinary science & engineering, he has formulated pragmatic solutions to corrosion, materials, and integrity engineering issues from design (Green field thru life cycle, Brown field).  Has authored, co-authored or approved a multitude of reports, studies, designs, certifications, verifications, opinions, recommendations, etc managing multi-disciplined teams with over 55 topical SME papers & presentations (peer reviewed internally or externally).  Engaged with Industry JIP’s (Ohio/Tulsa/Deepstar), committees, workshops, lectures, Society meetings via NACE, ISO, IMECHE, SPE, IMAREST, ASME, ASTM, etc. Promoting collaboration between academia and industry to maximize best fit for purpose solutions to difficult engineering problems. Expertise includes, third party reviews/verification, corrosion analysis, materials selection, testing, inspection, adaptive monitoring, data interpretation, applied R&D leadership, technology evolution, failure investigations, safety, troubleshooting, compliance and expert witnessing.  Binder holds global professional status via CEng, CMarEng, and is a licensed Texas PE; Elected Fellow of recognized Engineering Societies, member NACE and Engineers without Borders (EWB).
